Meet scientists at the Burke and across the UW campus!

Designed for students in grades 6–8, the Middle School Girls in Science program provides a collaborative and supportive environment for you to try out a variety of STEM fields and approaches.

Each Sunday morning for six weeks, we will meet a new team of specialists and will explore a different topic together. Past topics include oceanography, medical physics, neuroscience, design thinking, spectroscopy, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge.

Priority goes to applicants seeking to develop self-confidence in their STEM skills, and students with limited access to STEM role models and/or science resources.

Ages: Grades 6–8

Cost: FREE

Session Dates: We do not have confirmed session dates at this time.

Apply: We are not accepting applications to this program at this time.
