Introduction

It is no secret that we need to find new ways of generating electricity. Our current methods are limited and not sustainable for the world in which we live. Wind energy is one of the best ways to generate electricity because it is environmentally friendly and renewable, but there are other benefits as well. Here are some reasons why I think wind energy is the best

Environmentally clean

  • Wind power is environmentally clean. There are no emissions, and wind energy can be generated even in areas with low air quality and no nuclear waste disposal facilities.
  • Wind power is renewable and non-polluting because it does not produce greenhouse gases, radioactive waste or pollution of any kind.
  • The amount of noise made by wind turbines is minimal compared to other energy sources such as coal or fossil fuels that are still used today to generate electricity for homes across the world.
  • With wind farms there’s no water pollution from burning fossil fuels from mines located near rivers where people live on top of their watersheds due to drought conditions caused by climate change brought about by carbon dioxide released into our atmosphere through burning fossil fuels like coal for electricity production at home instead of going solar like most Americans do today!

Renewable energy source

Another reason why wind energy is the best is that it’s a renewable energy source. With the proper care, wind turbines can produce electricity for decades. This means that you’ll be able to use your own power without having to rely on fossil fuels or other non-renewable resources.

Safe

Wind turbines are safe. There are no emissions, no noise pollution and no health problems associated with wind energy. For example, a wind farm in North Dakota is the largest in the world, but it’s also one of the quietest and safest in terms of its impact on birds.

Wind turbines also don’t cause any kind of earthquake activity as they’re not connected to groundwater or underground reservoirs (unlike some other types of energy).

Reduces dependence on foreign oil

  • The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that the cost of foreign oil has more than doubled in the last 15 years, from $22 per barrel in 1997 to $64 per barrel today.
  • According to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), over half of U.S. crude oil imports come from OPEC members—Saudi Arabia and Venezuela being two of our largest suppliers—and these countries are known for their questionable human rights records and poor environmental policies.
  • We can reduce our dependence on foreign oil by using wind energy, which does not require overseas shipments or special permits to acquire land rights like drilling would require us to do so!

Creates jobs

Another way that wind energy is better than fossil fuels is that it creates jobs. In fact, according to the U.S. Department of Energy, the wind industry has created more than 100,000 high-quality jobs in all 50 states. Wind farms require a lot of people to work on them—they need engineers and architects to design them and contractors to build them! After they’re built, there are still plenty of jobs available for people who operate and maintain the turbines at wind farms across the country (it takes about one employee for every 3 megawatts installed).

If you want a job in this field but don’t know where to start, your best bet would be taking an associate degree or certificate program at a community college or technical school with courses in renewable energy systems or power electronics technology. You could also look into night classes at local community colleges if you have trouble finding time during normal working hours; many schools offer evening programs designed specifically for students with busy schedules like yours!

Wind energy is a great way of generating electricity.

Wind energy is a great way of generating electricity. It is safe, clean and renewable. Wind energy can be used to power homes, businesses and even electric cars in the future.

Wind energy reduces dependence on foreign oil which has been causing conflicts around the world for many years. Wind turbines do not pollute our air or water unlike coal-fired power plants that produce large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx).

Wind turbines create jobs in factories where they are made, as well as construction sites where they are installed and maintenance crews who keep them working efficiently at all times

Conclusion

Wind energy is a great way of generating electricity. It’s environmentally friendly and renewable, it reduces dependence on foreign oil, and it creates jobs.
